InTheCapital announced the winners of its 2nd 50 on Fire awards yesterday evening in a celebration at The Howard Theatre. 50 on Fire honors those driving innovation in D.C. and beyond by recognizing the year’s 50 most luminary, disruptive and newsworthy people and organizations across industries.
Culled from 1,500+ nominees to 150 of D.C.’s best, this year’s 50 on Fire finalists were announced in October and recognized on InTheCapital for their breakthrough accomplishments in nine industries: Design, Dining & Retail, Education, Government & Advocacy, Healthcare & Medicine, Marketing & Advertising, Real Estate & Architecture, Sports & Fitness, and Technology. Finalists were reviewed and voted on by industry-specific panels of judges comprised of community leaders, influencers and former 50 on Fire winners.
